Vicair® to distribute through Invacare

Invacare regularly conducts research into client needs and trends in the marketplace and as a result is proud to have teamed up with Vicair to become the new UK distributor of the Vicair range. These products enhance an already extensive cushion portfolio, while providing a unique combination of superior pressure re-distribution, comfort and optimal positioning. The partnership, effective from 1st April 2012 allows Invacare to expand its collection of superior solutions for pressure relief and positioning.

The clinically proven cushion offers a unique and innovative approach to support. Each cushion contains hundreds of SoftCells™ which are small air filled pyramid shaped cells contained in strategically placed compartments of the cushion. These flexible, fabric coated cells have a low friction level when in contact with each other, thus continuously adapting and conforming to the body’s contours.

Invacare is committed to developing long term partnerships with all stakeholders as a result Gerald Simonds Healthcare will continue to supply its existing customer base including NHS accounts and specific trade accounts. Invacare will take responsibility for sales into the acute and community sectors as well as its own trade accounts.
